Mickey Rooney testified to congress about elder abuse, with allegations that he was a victim of his stepson’s abuse. Rooney says in the Today show interview that he was abused “financially, medically.”
He was granted a protective order against his stepson and his stepson’s wife.
For 20 years, family members “misused his money, forced him to work, and even left him without enough food at home.”
